Easy Cream of Broccoli Soup Posted by samaree

I swear I published this recipe ages ago, but I just searched and couldn’t find it.

1 10.5 ounce can condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 15 ounce can chicken broth

4 ounces cream cheese

1 pound frozen broccoli

seasoning to taste

Mix all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a simmer and stir until well blended.

Serves: 2 for a meal or 4 for a side

Tips: You can use frozen or fresh steamed broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, asparagus, zucchini, yellow squash, parsnip, peas, celery or potato in this recipe.

You can substitute cream of celery or potato soup for the mushroom. Or use condensed cheese soup.

I like pepper, Spike, parsley and onion flakes as seasonings.

This can be frozen for up to two months.
