Michael and I went to his family’s house for the day. After hellos, coffee and sandwiches, we settled into our places in the house. Matt (bro-in-law) went to work. Thom (bro-in-law) and Michael played on the computer. I brought two loads of laundry and fell asleep during the first load while watching “Freaky Stuff in the E.R.”. I awoke from my nap and requested ice cream to soothe my heart burn. Thom provided and I partook.

I reclined on the couch for more time than was needed. We played “Scattergories” when I finally got up. Oh, my gosh, how fun was that? Can you think of a word for a kind of bird beginning with “C” – RIGHT NOW! No, you can’t. Your brain goes blank!

Game playing was followed by dinner: burgers, brats, BBQ chicken, green beans and mashed potatoes. Yum-O, to quote someone I hate. Isn’t any meal you don’t make yummyier?

Some people hate their in-laws. I like them more than my own family…
