So many people have asked me, “How did you lose weight? Pills? Weight Watchers? NutraSystem?”

I always tell them the same thing, “Be so poor that you only eat one meal a day and walk home instead of driving.”

I’m not kidding. I usually only eat one meal – lunch – which is a home made low fat soup, supplemented with grapes, cucumber slices or tomato slices. If I do eat dinner with Michael, I only eat a small portion of whatever I make for him.

It takes me twenty minutes to walk home from the bus stop.

Be conscious of what you eat. I used to eat whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. Now when I go thrifting, I try stuff on and get disappointed because the clothes I try on are too big.
